Job Summary
To support business growth in the Lafayette, LA area, the hybrid Outside Sales Account Executive will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to account expansion, developing tailored marketing strategies for clients while leveraging digital solutions and the USA TODAY Network's reach.
Key responsibilities
- Build a consistent prospecting cadence using various outreach methods to develop a strong sales pipeline
- Manage and grow a territory by balancing new business development with client retention and account expansion
- Lead discovery conversations to understand client goals and present data-informed marketing proposals
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience with a focus on new business development and account growth
- Proven ability to run a full-cycle, consultative sales process from discovery to close
- Strong prospecting skills across multiple channels including phone, email, and networking
- Experience using CRM and sales tools for disciplined pipeline management
- Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance
