Outsourced Controller

Job Summary

To support a growing portfolio of high-growth, investor-backed US businesses, the full-time Outsourced Controller will manage financial reporting, compliance, and accounting operations while leading a team of accounting professionals in a 100% remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Serve as the outsourced Controller for multiple US-based clients, ensuring high standards of service and responsiveness
• Onboard new clients and lead special projects, including system migrations and budget development
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports, providing strategic financial guidance to clients

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of accounting and finance experience, with at least 3 years in a Controller role at a US-based public accounting firm
• Experience supporting investor-backed or high-growth businesses with annual revenues exceeding $5 million
• Deep technical proficiency in US GAAP, financial reporting standards, and compliance, along with hands-on experience in relevant accounting software
• Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements concurrently in a multi-client outsourced environment
• Experience in managing and mentoring a team of accounting professionals, with strong delegation and review skills
