Overhead Transmission Engineer III

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Overhead Electric Transmission Engineer III to join their Electric Transmission Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently complete engineering design, technical analysis, and prepare specifications and reports for electric overhead transmission projects
• Develop computation methods, technical reports, and specifications under the guidance of senior staff
• Monitor project progress and performance, resolving operational issues to minimize delays

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required
• Minimum of 3 years of related engineering experience required
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures and regulatory standards
• Proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software, as well as Microsoft Office
