P and C Actuarial Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a P&C Actuarial Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze loss development, claim trends, and support quarterly and annual reserve studies
• Assist in the analysis and management of reinsurance treaties and compile data for submissions
• Support financial statements and regulatory reporting related to reserves

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
• Minimum of 4-7 years of actuarial experience in Property & Casualty insurance Reserving or personal lines pricing
• ACAS or near ACAS with a commitment to achieving designation is required
• Strong proficiency in Excel; experience with VBA, SQL, R, Python, or actuarial software is a plus
