Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coordinator, P2P Appeals to assist in managing peer-to-peer appeals processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and manage peer-to-peer calls with medical directors and payers
  • Document information from payer calls in the proprietary system and update account statuses in multiple databases
  • Support various departmental functions including case entry and appeals support

Required Qualifications and Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Preferred experience in a call center environment
  • Understanding of denials processes for Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial/Managed Care is a plus
  • Prior experience accessing hospital EMRs and Payer Portals preferred
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel, with the ability to perform basic functions in Excel
