Job Summary
A company is looking for a Coordinator, P2P Appeals.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and manage Peer to Peer calls with medical directors and payers
- Document information from payer calls and update account status in multiple databases
- Provide support for case entry, Peer to Peer, and appeals functions within the department
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Call center experience preferred
- Understanding of denial processes for Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial/Managed Care is a plus
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel, with basic formula knowledge
- Accurate keyboard skills with a minimum typing speed of 30 wpm
