Job Summary
To support the expansion of core P2P networking and storage primitives, the full-time P2P Node.js Engineer will work remotely, utilizing extensive knowledge of P2P protocols and advanced JavaScript skills to optimize network performance and implement high-performance networking code.
Key responsibilities:
- Expand and strengthen P2P networking and storage primitives
- Optimize network protocols for performance and efficiency
- Implement high-performance networking code using advanced JavaScript techniques
Required qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of P2P protocols (Kademlia, BitTorrent, libp2p, hypercore)
- Demonstrable experience optimizing network protocols for performance
- Deep understanding of UDP and TCP/IP networking, including NAT traversal techniques
- Experience implementing custom binary protocols and serialization formats
- Familiarity with cryptographic primitives for secure P2P communication
