PA Licensed Triage Nurse

Job Summary

To support a dedicated team providing after-hours care, the part-time PA Licensed Triage Nurse will assess patient needs over the phone, guide care decisions, and ensure timely treatment while working remotely with rotating shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient symptoms and determine urgency
• Provide clinical advice and direct care based on established protocols
• Communicate with physicians, insurers, and care teams to coordinate follow-up

Required Qualifications

• Nursing Degree from an accredited school
• 1+ year of experience in triage nursing, ER, physician office, or medical call center preferred
• Active RN license in PA, WV, NY, MD, or OH
• Current BLS or CPR certification required
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to provide safe, accurate advice
