Packaging Engineer

Job Summary

Designing and optimizing packaging solutions for a diverse product portfolio, the full-time remote Packaging Engineer will ensure product integrity, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability throughout the supply chain.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and develop innovative packaging solutions considering material properties and shipping requirements
• Conduct packaging material selection, testing, and qualification to meet performance and environmental goals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate packaging into the overall product development lifecycle

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
• Experience in packaging design and development within a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of sustainable packaging practices and materials
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to packaging
• Proficiency in CAD software and packaging simulation tools
