Packaging Operator Trainee
Job Summary
As a full-time Packaging Operator Trainee, the individual will operate, maintain, and monitor packaging equipment while ensuring production needs and quality standards are met in a remote role.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and maintain packaging machinery, adjusting settings as necessary to meet production metrics
- Ensure package quality through regular checks of weights, seals, and codes, while recording efficiencies and downtime
- Provide direction to packaging laborers and assist with troubleshooting equipment issues as needed
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent on-the-job training
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Capability to work in adverse conditions, including extreme temperatures
- Willingness to climb stairs and ladders as required
- Manual dexterity for safely using cleaning equipment
