Packaging Prepress Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Packaging Prepress Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Final review and approval of internal proofs
• Work directly with printers to troubleshoot quality issues and resolve
• Build electronic art files for plates and printing while ensuring accuracy and consistency

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Associate's or equivalent in Graphic Design or Color Electronic Publishing with a focus on prepress
• Three plus years of experience in prepress for consumer packaging
• Experience with flexo, offset, gravure, and digital print processes in consumer packaging
• Highly skilled in prepress/creative design software including Kodak Prinergy and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong file assembly and trapping skills for packaging
