PACS Administrator

Job Summary

To ensure optimal performance and reliability of imaging systems, the part-time PACS Administrator will manage daily operations, support various clinical departments, and maintain vendor relationships, with the possibility of remote work during night shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure daily operations and maintenance of PACS for optimal uptime and reliability
• Manage PACS integration with other hospital systems, including EHR and HIS
• Provide high-level technical support and serve as the primary escalation point for complex PACS issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
• PACS certification, or completed within two years of hire
• Two (2) years of desktop experience or work experience in an IT-related field
• Two (2) years of work experience in IT or as a Radiology Technologist
• Experience with software performance modification
