PACS Administrator

Job Summary

To ensure reliable image acquisition and workflow efficiency, the full-time remote PACS Administrator will manage the administration, support, optimization, and integration of the organization's Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and related imaging platforms while serving as the primary liaison among clinical operations, radiologists, and IT teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Administer and support PACS and enterprise imaging applications, troubleshooting issues and managing user access and security
• Collaborate with clinical teams to optimize imaging workflows and implement system enhancements for increased efficiency
• Coordinate with vendors for support, upgrades, and project management related to PACS migrations and technology deployments

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience in IT, Healthcare Informatics, Radiologic Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience supporting PACS, RIS, or related healthcare imaging systems
• Experience troubleshooting application and workflow issues in a healthcare environment
• Familiarity with imaging modalities such as CT, MRI, and Ultrasound
• Strong understanding of DICOM, HL7, PACS architecture, and SQL query fundamentals
