PACS Data Migration Specialist
Job Summary
A company is looking for a PACS Data Migration Specialist to support a large-scale migration from legacy PACS environments to Visage.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead data migration efforts from legacy PACS systems to Visage, ensuring accurate and efficient transfers
- Perform data cleansing, medical record number conversions, and metadata validation to maintain imaging integrity
- Collaborate with engineering teams and database administrators to manage the database layer during migration
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in PACS migration, imaging informatics, or healthcare IT
- Experience with database migration, ETL, and SQL databases
- Expertise in DICOM, HL7, and PACS administration
- Familiarity with Epic, Visage, and third-party imaging applications
- Knowledge of data security, HIPAA compliance, and system integrations
