PACS System Administrator

Job Summary

Providing management and end-user support for the Picture Archiving Communications System (PACS), the full-time PACS System Administrator will operate PACS equipment, ensure proper DICOM data transfer, and develop training materials while working onsite at Wilmington Hospital.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of PACS equipment, including image workflow and quality assurance
• Collaborate with department managers to ensure effective DICOM data transfer and network validation
• Develop training materials and provide ongoing education for end users on PACS and clinical systems

Required qualifications:

• Associate degree in computer science or a related field
• Two years of experience with radiology information systems preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
