PACT Representative

Job Summary

To enhance the patient experience, the full-time PACT Representative will manage inbound and outbound calls, schedule appointments, and verify patient information while working in a healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist inbound callers and make outbound calls for follow-up as necessary, using critical thinking to resolve issues
• Schedule patient appointments, manage cancellations and reschedules, and ensure accurate demographic and insurance information is obtained and updated
• Identify emergent calls and escalate to the appropriate Registered Nurse for triaging, while maintaining adherence to emergency guidelines

Required qualifications

• High School Graduate
• 0-1 year of experience in a call center, healthcare, or customer service-related field
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology is helpful but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple customer needs
• Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse patient population
