Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled Subject Matter Expert in Painting: Contemporary Practices, this remote contract position will design and write an online course that explores advanced painting skills and contemporary themes, guiding students in their creative and technical endeavors.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with instructional designers and faculty to develop an engaging online course within a shared timeline
• Design and write curriculum that supports students' creative and technical growth in an experiential learning environment
• Contribute to the ongoing development and expansion of the Fine Arts program

Required qualifications

• MFA or terminal degree in painting or a related studio discipline
• Experience in course design and development for online delivery
• Proven track record of successful experiential and applied approaches to student learning
• Knowledge of fine arts education at the college level and proficiency in learning management systems
