Palo Alto Engineer

Job Summary

To support complex project delivery, the full-time remote Principal Palo Alto Engineer will troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls, manage VPNs, and lead deployment and management activities while serving as a technical escalation point for junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver complex projects and act as a technical escalation point for junior engineers
• Lead deployment, management, and configuration of Palo Alto systems, including custom rule development
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing and provide post-production support and knowledge transfer

Required qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required, along with a CJIS Background Check and Fingerprinting
• Current PCNSE certification is mandatory
• Minimum eight years of hands-on experience with Palo Alto technologies
• At least six years of professional experience in Information Security in a consulting or enterprise role
• Experience with cloud providers such as AWS and Azure
