Palo Alto Firewall Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Palo Alto Firewall Engineer to manage firewall administration and policy migration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the migration of security policies from Zscaler to Palo Alto firewalls, optimizing URL filtering strategies
• Implement wave rules for data center extension to the cloud, collaborating with application teams for testing and validation
• Manage and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewall policies across on-premises and cloud environments, providing technical guidance on best practices

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewall administration and policy management
• Proven experience in migrating security policies from Zscaler to Palo Alto or similar projects
• Strong understanding of Palo Alto URL Filtering capabilities and management of URL categories
• Experience with data center security extension concepts and traffic segmentation controls
• Solid knowledge of network security architecture, VPNs, routing, and cloud integration, preferably with AWS
