Paralegal Appeals Analyst

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and analytical, the full-time Appeals Analyst will review and process appeals related to reduced time entries, ensuring compliance with billing guidelines while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Independently review invoice reductions and prepare appeal response recommendations in compliance with billing guidelines
• Determine priorities and manage deadlines while communicating regularly with the appeals team
• Identify areas for improvement in the appeal process and update training and workflow based on feedback

Required qualifications

• Paralegal certification preferred
• Six or more years of paralegal or legal billing experience, preferably in labor/employment litigation
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Experience with Document Management Systems and billing systems
