Paralegal Instructor

Job Summary

Seeking experienced legal professionals, the part-time contract Paralegal Instructor will deliver engaging online courses in an ABA-approved Paralegal Studies Program, focusing on practical legal skills and integrating technology to prepare students for careers in the legal field.

Key responsibilities

• Teach 11-week live, online courses using student-centered instructional strategies
• Evaluate student progress, maintain grade records, and provide timely feedback
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to continuously improve course content and instructional methods

Required qualifications

• J.D. or master's degree in legal studies or a related field, or equivalent professional qualifications
• At least 2 years of teaching experience at the college/university level
• Demonstrated professional legal experience in areas such as litigation, corporate law, or family law
• Knowledge of the paralegal profession and experience working with or as a paralegal preferred
• Comfort with digital tools and platforms, including LMS and video conferencing
