Job Summary
A company is looking for a Paralegal 1 (Transactions).
Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in delivering legal services, including conducting legal research and drafting legal documents
- Evaluate contractual exposure of lawsuits and prepare discovery materials
- Respond to subpoenas and support the management of transactions
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a law office or corporate law department
- Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or a Paralegal Certificate
- Understanding of insurance laws and regulations
- Basic knowledge of corporate law and contract law
- Ability to conduct legal research and analyze legal documents
