Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal - VA Licensed, the full-time remote position will manage corporate governance, regulatory filings, and legal research while providing high-level support across business units in the life insurance industry.

Key responsibilities:
  • Prepare and ensure timely filing of corporate and regulatory reports and maintain schedules for compliance obligations
  • Conduct legal research and assist business units with the interpretation of legal documents and state regulatory requirements
  • Organize and maintain documentation for litigation matters and coordinate with internal departments and external counsel
Required qualifications:
  • 5+ years of paralegal experience with a focus on corporate and transactional work
  • Experience in the life insurance or financial services industry is strongly preferred
  • Associate's degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent education and experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and legal document management systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality with discretion
