Part-Time Accounting Faculty

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced accounting professional, the part-time Accounting Faculty will deliver advanced online instruction in Auditing, Forensic Accounting, and Taxation within a graduate program, engaging actively with students and ensuring course alignment with university standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct online courses through the learning management system while engaging with students and providing timely feedback
• Complete quality checks of assigned courses and maintain accurate records for student grades
• Support retention efforts by actively monitoring student engagement and participating in university assessment initiatives

Required qualifications

• Ph.D., DBA, J.D., or equivalent doctorate degree with a focus in Accounting and 18 graduate credit hours in Accounting
• Minimum of three years of relevant industry experience and at least two years of higher education teaching experience
• Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and leading interactive graduate discussions
• Preferred professional licensure: Active CPA, CMA, CFE, CIA, or equivalent credential
• Documented experience working with a diverse student population in a remote teaching environment
