Part-Time Assistant Faculty, CIS
Job Summary
To support online undergraduate programming courses, the part-time Assistant Faculty, CIS will manage student communications, analyze engagement, and assist in grading while working remotely for 25 hours per week during designated hours.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze student activity and respond to discussions and assessments based on instructor input
- Assist in managing student communications and escalate issues to the lead instructor
- Provide tutoring and develop supplemental support materials as directed by the lead instructor
Required qualifications
- Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution; terminal degree may be required based on course credentialing
- Professional experience in the field of study, with previous teaching experience preferred
- Experience teaching Python and AI software development languages is required
- Online teaching experience is preferred
- Professional certification in discipline specialty may be required based on course credentialing
