Part-Time Assistant Faculty, Computer Information Systems

Job Summary

To support online undergraduate Computer Information Systems classes, the part-time Assistant Faculty will manage student communications, assist in grading, and analyze student engagement while working remotely for 25 hours per week, primarily in the evenings and on weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze student activity and respond to discussions and assessments based on input from the lead instructor
• Assist in managing student communications and escalate unique issues to the lead instructor
• Provide tutoring and develop supplemental support materials as directed by the lead instructor

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in a Computer Science concentration from a regionally accredited institution
• CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ certifications are required, or equivalent TestOut certifications
• Professional and online teaching experience in the field of study is preferred
• Experience working with diverse learning styles
• Strong organizational and time management skills
