Part-Time Assistant Faculty, Computer Information Systems
Job Summary
To support online undergraduate programming courses, the part-time Assistant Faculty, Computer Information Systems will engage with students, manage communications, and assist with grading while working remotely for 25 hours per week during designated hours of 8am to 4pm ET, Monday through Friday.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze student activity and respond to discussions and assessments based on lead instructor input
- Assist in managing student communications and escalate unique issues to the lead instructor
- Monitor student engagement levels and provide recommendations to enhance participation
Required qualifications
- Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution; terminal degree may be required based on course credentialing
- Professional experience in the field of study, with previous teaching experience preferred
- Experience teaching Python and AI software development languages is required
- Online teaching experience preferred
- Professional certification in discipline specialty may be required based on course credentialing
