Part-Time Computer Information Systems Faculty

Job Summary

Seeking a passionate part-time Computer Information Systems Faculty, the role will support online undergraduate classes by engaging with students, managing communications, and assisting with grading, requiring a commitment of 25 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze student activity and respond to discussions and assessments based on lead instructor input
• Assist in managing student communications and escalate unique issues to the lead instructor
• Provide tutoring, live sessions, and support for student engagement and outreach as directed by the lead instructor

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in a Computer Science concentration from a regionally accredited institution
• CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ certifications, or equivalent TestOut certifications
• Professional experience in the field of study, with previous teaching and online teaching experience preferred
• Ability to work a defined schedule of 25 hours per week, including evenings and weekends
• Comfortable using technology to facilitate learning and support a diverse range of learning styles
