Part-time Digital Automation Instructor

Job Summary

To support the academic development of students, the part-time Digital Automation Instructor will teach the online course AIA 210 Foundations of Digital Automation, focusing on fundamental concepts and the integration of digital technologies in traditional automation processes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct weekly live discussions incorporating group work and case studies, while addressing student inquiries and current events related to course content
• Review asynchronous content and student submissions prior to live sessions, providing timely grading and feedback
• Maintain virtual office hours and participate in quarterly instructor meetings, ensuring compliance with University regulations for progress reports and final grades

Required qualifications

• Master's Degree in a relevant field
• Significant teaching and/or professional experience in digital automation
• Online teaching experience
• Experience with instructional design preferred
• Ability to engage effectively with diverse individuals in a multidisciplinary environment
