Job Summary
A company is looking for a Part-time Faculty member in the Doctor of Occupational Safety and Health program to provide teaching and instruction remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach graduate courses within the discipline, including facilitating discussion boards, hosting live lectures, and providing timely feedback through the Blackboard Learning Management System
- Serve as a subject matter expert for curriculum maintenance, course content review, and addressing academic integrity concerns
- Participate in remote meetings, university training sessions, faculty development opportunities, and may serve as a dissertation committee chair or member
Required Qualifications and Education
- Terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution
- Extensive experience in university level teaching (preferred)
- Professional experience in the field (preferred)
- Must provide their own computer, telephone, printer with scanner, and have internet access with sufficient speed/bandwidth
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Blackboard, and internal database software
