Part-Time English Teacher

Job Summary

To support student growth in a relational online environment, the part-time English Teacher will provide live instruction for up to four courses, deliver timely feedback, and contribute to curriculum development while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide both synchronous and asynchronous instruction and support for up to seven sections of class each term
• Grade student assignments and provide timely, constructive feedback
• Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the Gravitas curriculum

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in English Literature, Composition, or a related field
• Minimum of three years of teaching experience, including online instruction
• High proficiency with technology and online teaching tools
• Strong work ethic and ability to connect with teenagers in an online learning environment
• Eligibility to work in the United States and maintain a permanent U.S. address
