Part-Time Faculty - American Sign Language

Job Summary

To support an engaging learning environment, the part-time Faculty - American Sign Language will teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses remotely, manage student interactions, and provide timely feedback on assignments while attending to students during evenings and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and facilitate courses, including hosting live lectures and managing discussion boards
• Communicate with students to encourage engagement and assist those struggling in the course
• Review and provide feedback on student submissions through the Blackboard Learning Management System

Required qualifications

• Terminal or master's degree in the teaching discipline or closely related field from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 18 graduate semester credit hours in the teaching discipline or closely related field
• Experience teaching at the college/university level is preferred
• Ability to provide own equipment, including computer and reliable internet access
• Knowledge of academic processes and university guidelines
