Part-Time Faculty in OSH

Job Summary

To support the educational needs of students, the part-time Faculty in OSH will teach undergraduate courses remotely, engage with students through various communication methods, and provide timely feedback on assignments while maintaining a flexible schedule that includes evening and weekend availability.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses and facilitate engaging learning experiences for students
• Communicate with students to encourage engagement and provide support, including conducting weekly outreach to struggling students
• Review student submissions, provide substantive feedback, and host live lectures during designated times

Required qualifications

• Possess a terminal degree or master's degree in the teaching discipline or a closely related field from an accredited institution
• Have a minimum of 18 graduate semester credit hours in the teaching discipline or closely related discipline
• Demonstrate experience teaching at the college/university level (preferred)
• Provide own equipment, including a computer, printer, and reliable internet access
• Knowledge of academic processes and basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Blackboard
