Job Summary
To promote an engaging learning environment, the part-time faculty member for Orientation will teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses remotely, facilitate student engagement, and provide timely feedback while managing course content and academic integrity concerns.
Key responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses, including conducting live lectures and facilitating discussion boards
- Engage with students through weekly outreach and timely communication to support course completion
- Serve as a subject matter expert, assisting with curriculum maintenance and addressing academic integrity issues
Required qualifications
- Possess a terminal degree or master's degree in the teaching discipline or a closely related field from an accredited institution
- Have at least 18 graduate semester credit hours in the teaching discipline or closely related field
- Demonstrate experience teaching at the college/university level (preferred)
- Provide own equipment, including a computer and reliable internet access
- Ability to conduct live lectures during specified evening and weekend hours
