Part-time Fundraising Director

Job Summary

Leading fundraising strategy and execution, the part-time Director, Fundraising will develop and implement fundraising initiatives for Teach Minnesota Teaching Fellows, focusing on securing funding, building relationships, and managing grant writing and reporting, all while working remotely for approximately 10 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a fundraising strategy aligned with sustainability and growth goals
• Build and manage relationships with foundations and partners, overseeing the full funder lifecycle
• Lead proposal and grant development, ensuring compelling narratives and effective grant reporting

Required qualifications

• Over five years of fundraising experience with a proven track record in securing private philanthropic support, preferably in education or public policy
• Experience in multiple areas of fundraising, including foundation, corporate, individual, and planned giving
• Demonstrated ability to develop new revenue sources to support organizational growth and impact
• Exceptional writing skills with experience in developing successful grant applications and proposals
• Strong project management skills and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
