Job Summary
To support the design and development of training solutions for Department of Defense customers, the part-time Instructional Systems Designer will apply the ADDIE model, collaborate with subject matter experts, and create engaging multimedia content in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and evaluate instructional materials and curricula for various learning environments using the ADDIE model
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather content and validate instructional approaches
- Conduct evaluations to ensure learning effectiveness and compliance with DoD standards
Required qualifications
- Prior military aviation maintenance and training experience is absolutely required
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Training Development, or a related field
- 5+ years of instructional design experience, with at least 3 years supporting DoD or federal government training initiatives
- Strong knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies
- Proficiency in eLearning development tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
