Job Summary
To support the Contracts Department, the part-time Junior Contracts Administrator will provide administrative and operational assistance in managing federal contracts, maintain contract files, track contract actions using spreadsheets, and facilitate communications, all while working remotely and residing in a HUBZone certified area.
Key responsibilities
- Establish and maintain organized contract files in compliance with federal requirements
- Maintain and update spreadsheet trackers for contract actions, ensuring timely monitoring of milestones and deliverables
- Assist in drafting and distributing contract-related correspondence and support communication with government officials
Required qualifications
- Must live in a HUBZone certified area
- Associate's degree or higher in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of administrative or contracts-related experience, preferably in government contracting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
