Part Time K-12 Content Writer

Job Summary

To support the development of educational resources, the part-time K-12 Content Writer will create high-quality, standards-aligned formative products and assessments for teachers and students, working up to 20 hours per week in a flexible remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Create content and supporting materials aligned with K-12 content standards
• Write and revise assessment items while gathering feedback from stakeholders
• Research content standards and develop instructional support materials

Required qualifications

• Prior instructional teaching experience in K-12 classrooms
• Expertise in content areas such as ELA, Math, or Literacy
• Solid understanding of state instructional standards, including Common Core
• Working knowledge of assessment design principles and best practices
• Ability to organize workstreams and meet deadlines effectively
