Part-Time Mathematics Teacher

Job Summary

To support the educational mission of Gravitas, the part-time Mathematics Teacher will provide engaging live online instruction for courses such as Pre-Algebra, Algebra II, and Pre-Calculus, while also offering mentorship and feedback to students in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver engaging live online instruction in Mathematics courses
• Grade student assignments and provide timely, constructive feedback
• Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the Gravitas curriculum

Required Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field or Mathematics education
• Minimum of three years of teaching experience, including online instruction
• High proficiency with technology, including learning management systems and online teaching tools
• Strong work ethic and ability to connect with teenagers in an online learning environment
• Eligibility to work in the United States and maintain a permanent U.S. address
