Job Summary

A company is looking for a Part-Time Medical Writer (Contract) who can support social media and newsletter content creation.

Key Responsibilities:

Research preassigned topics, providing summaries, statistics, and citations
Research top health, medical, and science studies, extracting relevant quotes and statistics
Edit newsletters, including adding links, citations, and formatting
Communicate with the CEO and social media team on weekly topics
Handle email production work, including inserting images and scheduling releases

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in medical journalism research
Minimum 2 years of experience in editing and writing for healthcare/wellness/science publications
Ability to effectively communicate complex scientific and medical information to a general audience
