Part-Time Meteorology Faculty

Job Summary

To support an engaging learning environment, the part-time Meteorology Faculty will teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses remotely, communicate with students, and provide timely feedback while managing course content and facilitating discussions.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and facilitate undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Meteorology or Atmospheric Science
• Engage with students through communication, outreach, and live lectures scheduled during evenings and weekends
• Review and provide feedback on student submissions, ensuring academic integrity and course rigor

Required qualifications

• Possess a terminal degree or master's degree in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution
• Have a minimum of 18 graduate semester credit hours in the teaching discipline or related field
• Experience teaching at the college/university level is preferred
• Ability to provide own equipment, including a computer and reliable internet access
• Knowledge of academic processes and university guidelines
