Part-Time OSH Faculty

Job Summary

Teaching undergraduate courses remotely, the part-time OSH Faculty will engage with students, facilitate discussions, and provide feedback while managing course content and maintaining academic integrity during evening and weekend hours.

Key responsibilities

• Teaches and facilitates undergraduate courses, including conducting live lectures and managing discussion boards
• Communicates with students to encourage engagement, provides timely feedback, and conducts outreach to assist struggling students
• Serves as a subject matter expert for curriculum maintenance and resolves academic integrity concerns

Required qualifications

• Possess a terminal degree or master's degree in the teaching discipline or a closely related field from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 18 graduate semester credit hours in the teaching discipline or closely related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience teaching at the college/university level is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Blackboard Learning Management System
• Ability to provide own equipment, including a computer and secure internet access
