Part-Time Principal Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Part-Time Principal Mechanical Engineer to contribute to high-impact projects in a flexible, remote role.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate engineering documents, including drawings and analyses, that meet industry standards
• Ensure adherence to client and regulatory requirements while developing engineering documents
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams and conduct on-site evaluations to inform project work

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent
• 10 years of experience in nuclear or power generation design of mechanical systems
• Experience in engineering/design services, power generation, or nuclear power industries
• Preferred qualifications include Nuclear Engineering Change qualifications and 10CFR50.59 Screening
• Must be able to obtain badging at a nuclear facility for nuclear positions
