Part-Time Program Finance Contractor

Job Summary

To support the Water Programs team, the part-time Program Finance Contractor will manage grants audit processes, conduct compliance reviews, and oversee misconduct and risk management, working remotely with an average commitment of 16 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the audit process for charity: water grants, ensuring timely completion and effective follow-up on findings
• Review compliance documentation for partners, identifying gaps and recommending follow-up actions
• Coordinate the misconduct process, managing case intake and documentation while collaborating with the Grants team

Required qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in grants management, financial analysis, audit, and compliance within an NGO or international development context
• Proven experience in reviewing compliance documentation and advising on follow-up actions
• Experience managing audit processes, including tracking findings and ensuring timely follow-up
• Strong foundation in financial accounting with the ability to interpret financial statements and audit trails
• Proficiency with Salesforce or comparable grants management systems
