Part-Time Psychology Faculty

Job Summary

To support student learning in a remote environment, the part-time Psychology Faculty will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, engage with students through various communication methods, and provide timely feedback on assignments while managing course content and maintaining academic integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and facilitate undergraduate and graduate courses, including hosting live lectures and managing discussion boards
• Communicate regularly with students to foster engagement and provide support for those struggling in the course
• Review and assess student submissions, offering constructive feedback and addressing academic integrity issues as needed

Required qualifications

• Possess a terminal degree or master's degree in the teaching discipline or a closely related field from an accredited institution
• Have at least 18 graduate semester credit hours in the teaching discipline or a closely related discipline
• Experience teaching at the college or university level is preferred
• Ability to provide own equipment, including a computer, printer, and reliable internet access
• Knowledge of academic processes and the use of learning management systems, such as Blackboard
