Part-Time Referral Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a part-time Referral Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing referral entries and maintain communication with assigned practices
• Schedule patients and attach referrals to appointments while obtaining necessary authorizations
• Manage assigned referral work queues and ensure completion of over 50 referrals per day

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required; post high school training or college preferred
• Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service and scheduling; 6 months of Epic experience preferred
• Working knowledge of referrals and InBasket
• Expert understanding of insurance and authorization processes
• Medical terminology knowledge is essential
