Part-Time Referral Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Part-Time Referral Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and process patient referrals efficiently and accurately
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain authorizations as needed
• Communicate with providers, specialists, and patients to ensure seamless care coordination

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required; post high school training or college preferred
• Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service and scheduling
• 6 months of Epic experience preferred
• Working knowledge of referrals and InBasket
• Medical terminology knowledge is a must
