Part-Time Special Project Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Part-Time Special Project Manager to support a three-year initiative focused on stroke prevention and education in Hawai'i.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with community leaders to gather insights on cultural beliefs and health literacy regarding stroke and hypertension
• Develop culturally relevant educational materials and manage the translation process for community education
• Engage with community partners and evaluate the cultural relevance of educational materials

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• Fluency in Tagalog, Ilocano, Chuukese, or Samoan, with high proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing
• Two years of experience in translation/transcreation and health material development for multicultural audiences
• Experience in public health program development and implementation
• Community engagement experience with AANHPI populations
