Part-Time Tax Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a US Tax Accountant (Part-time).

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and analyze assigned general ledger accounts and resolve issues
• Manage sales tax return preparation, audits, and related filings for multiple states
• Assist with quarterly tax payments and collaborate with external advisors on annual Federal returns

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (Accounting Major Preferred)
• 3-5 years of accounting and tax experience required
• Ability to reconcile accounts and understand General Ledger transactions
• General knowledge of sales and use tax
• Advanced Excel skills required; experience with Microsoft Dynamics Navision preferred
