Job Summary

An IT service provider is seeking a Partial Remote Java Developer in Austin area.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Being responsible for analysis, development, testing, and debugging of computer software
  • Designing systems and programs to meet complex business needs
  • Troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments

Required Skills:

  • Must live within driving distance of Austin, Texas
  • Bachelors degree in software engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related discipline
  • 4-6 years of Java development experience
  • Understanding of standard SDLC process and Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Knowledge of the following programs: WebLogic, Hibernate, Spring, Microsoft SQL Server (Wintel environment), Rational Clear Case, JavaScript, Microsoft Windows Server OS and Office Suite, Web Services, XML, and IBM Rational Tools
  • Must be able to pass security and background checks
